Container haulier, James Kemball has invested £3.5 million in an order for 40 new FH-500 tractor units.

The company is making the order after receiving good feedback from its drivers about existing Volvos on its fleet.

Chris Abbott, general manager at James Kemball, said: “Volvo is a premium marque whose core values of quality, safety and care for the environment are aligned with those of James Kemball.

The new FHs will be supplied by Volvo Truck and Bus Centre East Anglia, Felixstowe.

All will be on Gold Repair & Maintenance contracts with Uptime Assurance.

Abbott said: “James Kemball deliver a high level of customer service, therefore maximising vehicle utilisation and uptime are vital to us as a company.”
