Bullwell Trailer Solutions, part of the Ryder group of companies, has appointed Nigel Bailey as its new managing director in its 10th year of operation.

Bailey takes over from founder Gary Bulley, with the aim to create customer service excellence nationwide. Previously he was the operations director of Axis Fleet Management.

Bailey said: “Having worked in the industry for more than 30 years, joining Bullwell as managing director represents a new challenge and a great opportunity.

“My focus for Bullwell is to use the continued investment and support of Ryder to strengthen our client offering as we work towards creating a centre of excellence, providing repair and maintenance services to fleets across the UK.

“Growing our team of specialist engineers will also be a priority over the next 12 months, as well as further investment in new technology and equipment.

“Overall demand for our services continues to grow as fleet operators are becoming increasingly aware of the environmental and economic benefits of mobile maintenance and repair.

“Bullwell has always had a reputation in the industry for the excellent standard and quality of service as a result of the training and skills of our engineers. With the expertise of Ryder behind us, this can only improve.”

Bulley said: “Bullwell has gone from strength to strength over the past 10 years, and Nigel has the knowledge and passion to take Bullwell forward.

“With a new role ahead of me as head of engineering innovation at Ryder, I’m looking forward to seeing what comes next for both Ryder and Bullwell.”
