DAF dealer in Milton Keynes, Brian Currie, has opened the doors to Brian Currie Truck & Trailer Parts – a new, dedicated ‘TRP shop’ facility on the Chowns Mill Business Park in Irthlingborough, Northampton.

TRP is DAF Trucks’ all-makes truck and trailer parts offering, available across the company’s 139-strong dealer network, and now at 11 dedicated TRP Shop locations in the UK and Ireland.

Brian Currie Truck & Trailer Parts represents a £240,000 investment comprising an extensive refurbishment of existing facilities totalling 3,400sq.ft; including a TRP-branded Shop, offices and a Parts warehouse.

The new TRP Shop sees the appointment of two new parts advisors and two delivery drivers, plus the acquisition of two new delivery vans. A dedicated parts sales executive will also be a permanent addition to the team.

Benefiting from its strategic location at Freightroute – itself a major Brian Currie customer – operators can access the site from the A45, A6 and A14 trunk routes.

Brian Currie Truck and Trailer Parts supplements the DAF Dealer group’s existing parts and service locations in Milton Keynes, Bedford and Northampton. Together, Brian Currie’s parts stock holding exceeds £1.25 million and boasts a first time pick rate of 97.3%.

Parts sales manager Andy Horne said: “We have made this substantial investment to improve still further the level of service to customers in the area.

“Our new TRP Shop demonstrates a significant aftersales commitment to those DAF operators and to an even wider customer base.

“Operators with any fleet make-up can see we’re extremely serious about our trailer and all-makes parts offering – including on-demand parts deliveries to in the local area for stock items and a daily parts delivery service supported by our other depots.

“The Brian Currie name,” he added, “is well known on the local truck scene and with our existing excellent reputation at our Northampton and Bedford locations, together with our headquarters in Milton Keynes, our Group portfolio of services becomes even more attractive for operators in the region.”
