Ctrack Online has gained a fleet management contract with Gripit, a plasterboard fixing company and winner of Dragons Den.

Gripit has started using web-based Ctrack Online tracking system to achieve added fleet safety, security and efficiency.

Ctrack Online was initially fitted on three cars, used by a new field sales force introduced to support the rapid expansion of the business.

The system has been rolled out to a further nine vehicles and replaced the original tracking system in the three vans.

It is being used to provide visibility of the 15-strong fleet operation with office-based staff able to see the exact location of any vehicle.

The company can also monitor how the vehicles are being driven and to track expenses, mileage and business/private usage.

Gripit’s executive assistant to the chief executive Sophie Newell said: “We needed a telematics partner that understood our changing fleet needs as the business grows.

“This means not only providing a functional vehicle tracking system, but also having the necessary support to make the whole process as simple as possible and offer guidance when required.

“Ctrack has always been on hand to ensure we had the right product in place that would deliver real value to the business.”

Ctrack’s managing director John Wisdom said: “We recognise the unique requirements of smaller, fast-growing operations, in terms of flexibility, support and resource availability.

“By understanding these precise needs, we are able to provide a highly-effective vehicle tracking solution that is backed up by an experienced and industry-leading team.

“This is enabling our customers to meet their fleet objectives and achieve clear return on investment.”
