Northgate Vehicle Hire placed a £2.5 million order for the new, next-generation Isuzu D-Max pick-up truck range on the day of its launch at the Commercial Vehicle Show.

With the previous version already a popular part of the 50,000-strong Northgate fleet, the new D-Max has been extensively updated.

Eddie Aston, managing director of Northgate Vehicle Hire, said: "The new D-Max vehicle is a better proposition than ever.

"Not only has it retained its 3.5-tonne towing capability, it also has no AdBlue, better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions than the earlier version.”

”As a business, Northgate seeks to provide the best vehicle in each category. Isuzu certainly ticks the box in the pick-up sector,” he continues.

Northgate is offering a two-tier pick up option. As well as the utility vehicles, there will be premium D-Max’s available such as the Blade trim level.
