Kwik Fit is confident of winning a significant volume of new business opportunities after reporting huge interest for its services from fleet decision-makers attending this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show.

In the past two years Kwik Fit has made - and continues to make - a major investment in its light commercial vehicle tyre fitting proposition and in expanding its range of mechanical services to fleets as the number of vans on the UK’s roads continues to rapidly rise.

At the CV Show Kwik Fit showcased the ability of many of its newly refurbished centres, including those now branded 'Kwik Fit Plus', to undertake mechanical work on light commercial vehicles up to five tonnes.

There will be approximately 20 sites by mid-2014, predominantly located in the south east of England, with an additional 50 'Kwik Fit Plus' centres planned each year.

Kwik Fit also had one of its new-look mobile tyre fitting vans on display at the CV Show to highlight the benefits to busy van fleets of its “we’ll come to you service”, aimed at keeping vehicle downtime to a minimum.

Pete Marden, Kwik Fit’s UK fleet business development manager for SMR and MoT, who was in charge of the company’s show stand, said: “The quality of new business leads that we generated at the event was fantastic.

“We have now followed those leads up with meetings set-up to discuss our light commercial vehicle products and services with many potential fleet customers.

“This was the fourth consecutive year that Kwik Fit has attended the Commercial Vehicle Show and it is proving of great benefit to the business.”
