Commercial vehicle manufacturer Isuzu Truck has announced that Mark Todd has been appointed to a new role in the UK as head of aftersales.

Isuzu Truck managing director Pete Murphy said: "Ever since Bob Haughton, our previous operations director and deputy managing director, left the business last year, Mark has managed the operations department very effectively and worked closely with his colleagues. So this formal appointment of Mark's new role within our business is well deserved."

Todd, who has now been with the Hatfield based company for over 10 years, was formerly general manager for parts, service and warranty - a role he has undertaken for the past two years.

He was also part of the shareholder team at ITUK when the company was sold to Isuzu Motors Limited (Japan) in early 2013.

His background in the aftermarket and parts business goes back many years, having worked at Wheels Motor Factors, Hella, and Lucas before joining Multipart. At Multipart, he worked for three years as account manager for LDV, Dennis Eagle, Triumph and Isuzu Truck. Todd joined Isuzu Truck in 2003.
